I read the three Hunger Games books, on a friend’s recommendation, and was really surprised that not once did it enter my head whilst reading them that they were directed at a “young” audience, they were just so well written! With the success of the Hunger Games in mind I just ordered another Young adult trilogy, The Testing by Joelle Charboneau, and I can’t wait to get started on the first one, hopefully this weekend. It just shows that being open minded about we choose to read can bring its rewards.
