Definitely schedule your trip for a day the Lodge is open. It’s not daily, but the post the days in advance on the website. It’s a bit of a drive down bumpy roads to get there, but the property is gorgeous and you’ll be in awe of the size of the ranch. Miles and miles and miles. I had to look up the acreage and the land they own is the size of Connecticut! They told us it would be a 2 hour wait for a table, but it only ended up being an hour. In the meantime, we had pastries and coffee from the bakery upstairs. I think the pastries were better than our actual lunch at the restaurant! The cheese danish was AMAZING. We shared a blueberry strudel there (also good), but if we had tasted the danish, I would have gotten right back in the long line to get more to take home. Mmmm! I need to go back and take more photos and write a post about it!
